Ainsley (Thistle)

Medic | medic@campkasotawest.com

Ainsley has been working at camp for 5 years, but has been coming to camp for 10 years. She loves running archery sessions, and is now the coordinator of the archery program. Throughout the year, Ainsley is involved in the Girl Guides of Canada organization as a leader, and has been working toward an early childhood education degree. She has joined our management team as our medic this year, and is very excited to continue to get to know new campers every week!

Lucy (Frog)

Assistant Program Coordinator

Lucy has worked at camp for the past 2-years as a canoe/kayak camp counsellor. Since attending camp herself, Lucy developed a love for the outdoors and working with children/youth. During the school year, she is at Queen’s university working towards a degree in Nursing Science and hopes to one day work as a pediatric RN. This year, Lucy is joining our team as one of our assistant Program Coordinators and is excited to engage with campers each week. You will often find Lucy down by the lake as she looks over our waterfront programming!

Maya (Kiwi)

Program Coordinator | programcoordinator@campkasotawest.com

Maya has been working at camp for 5 years and been attending camp since she was 12 years old! Maya has always had a passion for working with kids and is pursuing her dreams while currently working on her English/Education degree. Maya has played sports all her life and loves the outdoors and nature and the idea of being a part of something bigger than herself! This is her first year as our program coordinator and she can’t wait for many more to come!

Cora (Acorn)

Assistant Program Coordinator

Cora has been attending Camp Kasota West since she was 6 years old and has been working here since 2017. Camp is a huge influence on Cora’s life - whether it was spending every summer of her childhood here making life long friends or helping her decide that she wanted to pursue a career in child care. She is a recent graduate from the University of Lethbridge earning her bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama and bachelor of Education. This summer Cora is one of our assistant program coordinators. With her love of the arts and creativity you can often find her in the craft hall with the kiddos!
