Who We Are and What We Do

Our Land: Camp Kasota West is located on 42 Acres of lakefront property in the Sylvan Lake Area. In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge that we live, work and play on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, the Métis Nation (Region 3), and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.

Our Mission: Camp Kasota West strives to promote a safe, nurturing environment where children can come to have fun, develop an awareness and respect for self, community, the world in which they live, and God. We do this through providing a competent, dynamic, enthusiastic staff. A diverse, exciting, and challenging program is provided in a setting where children experience the natural environment of Sylvan Lake. It is our hope that children will leave with memories of the special time they had at Camp Kasota West.
