Camp Kasota West

About Our Children's Camps

The children’s camp summer program at Camp Kasota West is for campers who have completed grades 1-6 and is designed specifically with younger campers in mind in regards to the program, games and activities that we run on site.

The bulk of programming at Camp Kasota West is conducted in “sessions,” hour long activities led by our counselors for 10-15 campers at a time. Sessions contain a wide variety of activities from crafts, to games, to watersports, and more! Our children’s week program provides campers with the ability to CHOOSE which sessions they will participate in throughout the day, allowing them to build their own daily program from a plethora of options. By affording campers the ability to select activities based on what interests them, Camp Kasota West provides the unique opportunity for younger campers to be able to try new things, explore the natural world, make new friends and, most importantly, have a fun time doing it!

In addition to sessions, our program is also built on camp wide activities, where your camper will engage with all the other campers and counselors on site. These include activities such as a wide game, weekly talent shows, a nightly campfire, educational sessions, nightly reflection periods and a super special week end surprise activity! Check out the daily schedule below for an example of what your camper may experience during an average day at Camp Kasota West!
